Meet The Women Behind Impact
Lucy Stockdale And Michaela McCormick

Our Story
Hi, we’re Lucy and Michaela. We are actors, voiceover artists and accredited coaching practitioners who help employees and executives communicate, connect and perform under pressure.
Having spent years in the acting and voiceover industry, we’ve lived with the pressure and stress of a high-performance career. With the lack of support from the NHS and our respective work environments, we knew that if we couldn’t find the support, we’d become it instead.
After researching why stress affects people so differently and the science behind the nervous system, mindset and emotional regulation, we created Impact, a brand dedicated to creating open, proactive workplaces where people can perform and succeed without their wellbeing paying the price.

Lucy Stockdale
Formerly known as Lucy DixonLucy Stockdale is a British actor, voiceover artist, and co‑founder of IMPACT Training. Known for her work in Hollyoaks, Waterloo Road, and other major UK productions, Lucy brings a unique blend of performance experience and nervous‑system understanding to her work, shaped by her own journey through stress, overwhelm, and unexplained physical symptoms during a demanding period in her acting career.
Her turning point came when she realised her body wasn’t “failing” it was communicating. As she learned how stress shows up physically and how the nervous system responds under pressure, Lucy rebuilt her sense of grounding and control.
Today, she helps people recognise those same signals in themselves, feel more regulated, and reconnect with who they are. Her approach is calm, compassionate, and rooted in the belief that your body is always trying to guide you, not work against you.

Michaela McCormick
Formerly known as Michaela LongdenMichaela McCormick is a British actress, Professional Certified Coach (PCC), presenter, NLP & Hypnosis practitioner, and co‑founder of IMPACT Training. Known for her roles in Coronation Street, Doctors, Hollyoaks and other iconic UK shows, she blends her performance background with deep expertise in confidence, mindset, and nervous‑system regulation.
Her coaching work is rooted in lived experience. After navigating an unstable childhood, an abusive relationship, PTSD, anxiety, and a complete loss of confidence, Michaela became fascinated by the link between stress, trauma, performance, and the body. She rebuilt her own sense of self and now helps others do the same, supporting people to recognise stress earlier, regulate under pressure, and reclaim their voice with clarity and compassion.
